Facilities are a 10 - clean & well maintained especially for the price you pay, hot showers (free), cold shower available too outside after a nice swim or just to cool down.
Kitchen big & spacious to prep & clean ur dishes. Good outdoor area, outside kitchen with picnic tables too.
Heaps of space for Powered/unpowered sites, campervans. Didn’t look around if any cabins as we were more than satisfied with our own space than anything. Right next to office but a short walk away from the beach (5mins up the lil hill, through the car park). Good if you have a 4WD, drive into beach through Coast Rd than walking with the kids & luggaging all you need from campsite then back especially in good, hot weather.
Beautiful sunset through the short lil walk up the “hill” (short & less than 1min) from campsite towards beach. You can find yourself a lil spot & just soak it in, even meditate but maybe away from the walkway so you’re not disturbed.
If you enjoy waves, definitely good for a surf, good to have a boogie board for the kids but best for kids to be competent swimmers as waves & currents are super strong. Not for toddlers/babies.
Again, if you have a 4WD you can take the toddlers to the stream, to the right of the track once you get on the beach. If going to the 4WD, just make sure you’re back by 10pm, regional park gates close at 10 or you won’t get back in.
Amenities - great local cafe a short walk away from the campsite. Didn’t go there as we had everything but looked beautiful & busy when open.
Not sure if it was Cheryll but she was great, very Welcoming when we arrived & understanding when “telling us off” for our “noise” after 10pm as there were other campers. We were laughing a lil loud, off & on (playing cards with teens) after 10pm, didn’t help we based ourselves next to the office & near all the facilities + not far from the beach walkway.

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay at the campsite as no one answered the ph throughout the whole week I had been calling.
When looking into the website it kept showing cabins & camp sites available so we still went but upon arriving just after closing hours no one answered after hours doorbell (clearly states after hours bell).
We had 3 families with us & finished a long drive so we camped at the beach for the night before heading off again the next day.
Luckily the beach is too beautiful to pass & surrounding areas or this would have ruined our trip!

Uretiti is a beautiful place!
Arrived just before gates closed at 9pm & staff were more than accommodating & a pleasure to deal with. They even gave us a key for the main gate as we had other family members not arrived yet & still came & made sure we were all ok when they arrived after 1030pm.
The site was packed but still enjoyable! Woke up & went for a walk along the beautiful beach then enjoyed an Awesome swim!
Though toilets were long drops, they were kept clean & always had handwashing refilled. Showers not bad either, they supply hot & cold showers. Only $2 for a 4min hot shower.
Kitchen facilities, they provide a kitchen area to prep. It has island in the middle of the room & benches around it with sink & tap outside to clean dishes.
Taps provided too around the site to wash & clean feet from beach or fill up bottles but wouldn't reccomend drinking from it :)
Great experience & definitely worth the stop!!! Ashamed we couldn't stay longer as we had to head back home but will go back sometime! Thank you
