Beautiful well kept campsite River was really fast flowing and unswimable which was a bugger locals did say it was a perfect river to swim in, Our 2nd night was rough winds were extreme but over all
the grounds were amazing camp lady was awesome and polite,
Would definitely visit this site again

Motunau Beach Camping

We would probably never go back only because of the lack of water fun for my kids, but we did noticed a lot of boats so must be good out in the water.
Great little place to camp out there
The drive was nice views,
Downside was to get to the beach you had to climb down a hill to a rocky shore beach that was hard to get to, and for water rat children that was difficult
Toilets were looked after daily topped up and checked
Nice little hide away
Really good value camp site for only $10 per site

Lake Taylor Campsite

Despite the hour long gravel road there, started right next to the lake with our tent was really windy so decided to move to the top half of site, long drop toilet and cabin with water tap from tank.
Great location with a beautiful view
Kids hubby and family members enjoyed the walk up the mountain took 3hrs but views were breath taking from what they said,
Would recommend this site nice little hide away for our long weekend.
