We had a great time at this spot.
There are toilets, running river where we panned for gold successfully, there is a brick fire place and pizza oven which we did not use, working toilets and trees to camps amongst. We thoroughly enjoyed this spot and would recommend, however Sandflies were an absolute nightmare So come prepared!! $8 per night per person.

We were hesitant with the prior reviews but thoroughly enjoyed this spot.
Check in was just signing the paper (easy as) and there were clean, well built shower and toilet block with beautiful hot showers. There were 3 showers each in male and female part and a family room as well. Camping spots are around the site with trees providing some separation. Was worth the extra few dollars to the other DOC sites in the area. There were BBQ’s and cleaning stations as well as drinking water around. Wifi was only in certain parts. More than fine for what we wanted. $15 per person per night.

This place was fine to stop over and camp one night but the toilets were on the gross end (needed a solid clean), and had basic ammenities (a shelter and water basin area).
The camping spots were basically just an open parking lot so no privacy and no trees around. A nice enough view of the mountains and river over the road. $8 per person per night. Can’t complain but have camped in nicer spots along the west coast. Birds are loud in the morning but that’s not a negative.
