Great campsite.
Very friendly staff. Toilets and showers dated but clean. Views amazing. Very large site so can be far from utility blocks. We were lucky.

Good size pitches but quite confusing pitch marking.
Plenty of people in wrong pitches causing some consternation. Showers dated and not ideal having to pay by putting money in outside the showers. Good access to beach.

In the middle of Queenstown so you pay for the privilege.
Small sites so no privacy. Have to use code to get into toilets and showers but all very clean and modern. Good but no atmosphere. Ok for a short stop over but very hi de hi!!

Lovely campsite.
Spacious sites. Very friendly at check in. Have to pay for showers but only 50 cents for 7 minutes, turned off shower well before that. Very clean. Great for walking to village. Only stayed one night as had previously checked in at the top 10. Wished I found this little gem first!

Views over lake amazing but very expensive.
Had to queue for toilets and showers. Not enough facilities for amount of sites. Spoke to one couple who paid for 3 nights and left after 1.

Very small pitches.
Very popular with families with young children as has plenty of play equipment. Showers clean and free and shower blocks heated. However constantly disturbed by people walking straight through our pitch. Expensive for what you get. However close to village. Ideal if you have kids but not for us!

We found this campsite depressing.
Whether we would have been more favourable if weather had been pleasant I don't know. Very dated and had to pay for showers. Now wish we'd just left and gone elsewhere.

This is one of the best campsites we've ever stayed at.
Loved it so much first visit decided to stay second night then a week later came again for another night. Lovely lady checked us in. Showers free and hot and very clean. Amazing views over gorge. Lovely a quiet. However very close to road so you do get road noise. Great value.
