What you’d expect from a top 10 but so noisey.
Road noise and train went past middle of the night, also by a helicopter pad. I thought it was expensive for camping esp for non powered site it’s double the price but small sites and no power. Facilities are clean but cramped. Wasn’t a fan of how out of the way the kids play area was. It’s a great play area but way out of sight. Not tenting options close to it.

Loved our stay here.
Staff super friendly and accommodating. Park was quiet when we visited but such a great location. 1 adult 3 kids was cheaper than other campsite we stayed at $53 and powered. Highly recommend staying. Such a beautiful place and directly across the road from paradise. Gripe- other campsite we’ve stayed at had picnic tables on all campsites which we found so helpful or scattered close by. This 1 had 2 at the kitchen for patrons to use. Would be nice to have a lot more but did notice a lot of patrons were campervans too who had tables in them. All in all wonderful place.

Stayed 1 night 1 adult 3 kids.
Surprised how huge the camp sites are compared to other camps we’ve stayed at. Good kids play area and facilities are clean, new and spacious. We originally got put on a campsite, pitched our tent and found the blazing sun incredibly to much. Ask to move under the trees and they were more than accommodating. Gripes- The Nelson airport is close by and planes are landing or taking off early. So loud! Also after paying $70 for tenting I hate it that you have to pay extra for mini golf in the kids play area etc. find it annoying and should be inclusive

Awesome.
Very very friendly staff so helpful. Lovely campsite. Well sheltered as we were expecting rain. Great kids play area and very peaceful. Cheaper than top 10 and swear it’s worth every penny. Would definitely recommend
