Size of the campervans perfect for NZ roads, size of the bed is large and perfect.
Sad you can't choose your design and vehicles a bit old but price and oprions are very competitive and service provided by the Team to help and answer queries is really efficient.
Thanks for your review Francois and Caroline! We do cover the age of our vehicles on our website (we are a backpacker company after all) and we do try our best with design requests but cant guarantee any particular design received. Glad that we looked after you in the other respects though and hope you enjoyed your travel in NZ :-)
Cheers

We arrived late and information were left on the door to know which spaces were available, quite convenient.
Facilities were clean.
But the overall feeling is that spaces are too small and its overcrowded (in relation to the price as well).

Very nice small campsite close to the beach.
Sites are large and well organised, facilities are spotless. Owners are really friendly.

Nice campsite even only few showers and small kitchen.
With free access to the Hot pools included in the price it is definitely a really good one to stay one night on your way to Rotorua. Very close to Wai-O-Tapu thermal park which is definitely one to visit.

Nothing special about that place and quite small so many people end up staying in the car park.
We just stayed there because it was included in the DOC Campsite Pass.

Great location close to the beach and very good facilities with 4 or 5 blocks in total across the all site.
Busy with locals during summer time so better to book in advance.

Very nice campsite close to Picton.
Good and clean facilities (toilets - we didn't use the shower).
Lovely DOC manager who recommended to us to enjoy 'free' glowworme caves next to the campsite and to enjoy sunrise on the beach early in the morning.

Nice location close to Te Anau and included in the DOC Campsite Pass.
Sites in the forest close to the lake (on the left side) are nice but only few so you need to arrive quite early.
Toilets were clean.

This was our first night in New Zealand and we stopped there only because others campsites around didn't have any vacancies...
Ground was soft on quite a lot of places, close to the road eve if not a lot of traffic.
Toilets were clean and it's free so it can be convenient for a night !

We stayed on the MacDonalds part which is just perfect.
Lot of space and well organised, shed with tables and sinks. A short walk through the forest to go to the toilets on the Otto part.
DOC ranger was lovely.
