Portaloos smelled pretty bad, but luckily there were also some flushing toilets.

Nice place, rather limited space for tents, but if you're not too late, you'll find a nice spot.
The kitchen equipment is not the best, have to be lucky to find a good pot or pan, but if you have equipment yourself, it has everything you need (kettle, toaster, gas cookers, fridge/freezer). Would stay here again!

Nice campsite with clean and nice unisex bathrooms, lots of families around.
Kitchen equipment could be rented for just a 20$ deposit, so no fee, which was really nice! Unfortunately the fridge had not had a proper clean in a while: dirty, broken glass and very (!) old milk in it. Cookers were not very powerful, took ages to cook something.

Beautiful free campsite right next to the beach.
Be aware of strong winds, though. We ended up not staying the night because our tent got almost blown away (even though we had found a protected spot behind the flax). Went to another site 15 minutes inland, where the wind was no problem at all. Wouldn't recommend it for tenting except on a real quiet day.

Very expensive, like everything in Queenstown.
Paid 55$ for an unpowered site for 2 persons. Close to town centre and the facilities are cleaned several times a day. Kitchen is large and spacious, equipment must be rented for 5$ plus 50$ deposit. They give you 1GB free wifi, but it hardly ever works, probably too many people using it.

Campsite was okay, but not really suitable for tents.
Must be lucky to find one of the few good spots. Right next to the motorway which makes it quite noisy at night. The location next to the river was quite nice, but always brings sandflies with it, of course.

Really nice campsite with super friendly owner!
Good for tenting, 12$ pp. Decent showers with good water pressure and temperature. The kitchen is equipped with kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, and a BBQ, no pots/pans/etc., but the owner helped us out with a pan from his backpackers, thanks again for that! Had a good big bowl of chips from the restaurant (4$). The place is right next to the main road, convenient to get to, but yes, you hear trucks. And yes, there are more sandflies than in other places we've been to, but price, friendlyness and free unlimited wifi def make up for it! Would recommend it, just make sure you bring repellent. ;-)

Nice campsite with lots of space to set up tents.
Unfortunately there was gravel underneath the grass, so very hard to put pegs in. Toilet was okay, but a bit smelly.
