If it wasn’t for the noisy highway 6 it could have scored higher.
Ok for a night but wouldn’t stay here during the day. Friendly staff lady and clean (I mean very clean) facilities. Nice cut and green gras to put up your tent.

Kind of worn out and run down place.
No investments have been done over the past years. Bunch of old trailers and a kitchen with backpackers hanging around. Officebuilding looked like a dump. Gents showes was dirty. Sorry, find oud for yourself if it’s your money worth.
We are a holiday park ,not affiliated to the likes of Top 10 holiday parks, and yes we have caravans, not all new, so your description of them as a bunch of old trailers is rather judgemental of someone's private property.
We do cater for backpackers, apologies if mixing with that kind of traveller does not appeal to you.
Perhaps you should stay at Top 10 holiday parks throughout NZ, as clearly your standards are much higher than we were able to provide.

On our search for shelter for bad weather we ran into this site and stayed in an old caravan for two nights.
Nice and clean. Very friendly lady who checked us in. Amazing large community hall with pool table. Well equipped kichen, Perfect shower. Property is well maintained, cut lawns, good atmosphere.
