Lots of friendly ducks in the surrounding area.
Great spot at the outskirts of town Paihia. A Countdown supermarket about 3 minutes walk.
When taking a boat tour the next day the owner let you park your campervan at the lawn. About 20 minutes walk to the ward.

- we paid 44 dollars for 2 persons at a powered site.

Excellent camping spot right at the beach.
Lots of space for campers and lots of space for tents.
Public toilet which is a hole on the ground with a toilet seat. So don't expect to much of it. Bring your own light at night.
Price for adult is 13 dollars a night. Fill in the form and drop it in the box. I guess it's for the nature and all. But 26 dollar for 2 persons pooping in a hole is maybe bit to much.
