Beautiful beachside self contained campsite.
Probably one of my favourite places to camp anywhere. Make sure you visit the cafe before you leave in the morning

We didn’t stay here as we were self contained and found a few places on the road out to here.
The lady in the I-site wasn’t very helpful but did point us to this site which we found a place to stay just before here.

We pulled into Kinzett terrace car park first before moving onto here as the freedom camping spots there were to small to fit a big camper.
Still felt a bit dodgy here but stayed as did a few other vans without any trouble. Was a lot of noise from the highway though so bring earplugs

Great campsite/farm stay, the kids loved feeding the animals especially the lambs that were there and the muffins on arrival were delicious.
The glow worm walk at night is a must but can be a little tricky with little ones. Our 4yr old managed it though.

Beautiful campsite with the owners very happy and helpful.
When we said we had kids they offered to inflate the jumping pillow even though it was late afternoon and had been down due to the rain all day. A baby bath available in one toilet block and a really nice outdoor bbq area.

Was a nice campsite with powered sites separated by bushes for a bit of privacy for a change.
The kids play area was old but I loved taking the kids on some old fashioned play equipment that I grew up with

This was a great campsite that included everything right next to an amazing place like the Abel Tasman national park.
I saw lots of reviews complaining about the cost but it’s costs money to keep places like this running at not impact the environment. It was still cheaper than the Kaiteriteri campsite and closer to the national park. Hooked cafe was amazing too with a great happy hour

This campsite was beautiful with everything you need.
The owners were so happy and friendly. Clean toilets and hot showers and a deck off the kitchen area overlooking the stunning river. There is a little aviary around the back that the kids loved and bikes that older kids could borrow for around the campsite

We stopped here on our way to Abel Tasman national park.
It was very busy early and could see that it might be noisy but it wasn’t when we were there and the toilets were a bit smelly but still a handy stop off

Very confusing to find where to actually stop overnight as the signs are very vague and still not sure if we stayed in the right place but parked in a field on the left just before the salmon farm car
park and was a beautiful backdrop to spend the night including the deer in the neighboring field

Great place to stay, it’s essentially a motel but with a few powered sites that we used one of with nice toilets and showers that we were given our own when we were there as it wasn’t full.
She also gave us great advice about Wharariki beach and farewell spit where we were heading the next day including tide times and weather

Great campsite with plenty of space for privacy and just far enough away from the highway to not get the noise and only $5 a night
