First of all there is a toilet and BONUS it doesn't small (being a compost toilet and not a long drop).
The ground is nowhere near flat though and the wind tends to whip through (which I guess is what is going to happen when you are on a hill in the middle of the Waitakere's).
My 10 year old and I had the entire campground (and disc golf course) to ourselves! Liked the way you could see all the way into the valley it seemed somehow "safer" to be able to see anyone coming :)

Lovely little (although bigger than I expected) campground.
A relatively if a little steep walk in - tonnes of water taps dotted around, the shelter belts are mature enough to do the job and every bay is beach front. The toilets (long drop) are clean but smelly. All in all a lovely spot and having to walk in makes it slightly more of an adventure for the kids.

Great facilities lots of open space (in the unpowered sites area) and we could set up wherever we wanted.
Relatively expensive (as we are used to DOC/Council sites) but you get what you pay for and it was money well spent!
