Loved this place!
It has 4 powered sites at the back, Dave on the front desk was very kind. The lounge is very comfortable and feels like home. Lots of DVDs for rainy days and a fully equipped kitchen. Dave even has fresh coffee for you in the morning and did our laundry for us! He let our two young kids feed the baby lambs and we had lovely unlimited hot showers. Our favourite place that we have stayed at over the last month travelling around NZ. Free unlimited Wifi which was fast.

The best Freedom Camping site as there was power!
Only required a donation of $5 per site. Clean toilets, washing up space and power. An absolute bargain. The only free site we have come across with power in north and south island. Free carpark opposite The Polynesian Spa.
Only a 10minute walk into town from there. There are clean toilets but they are a 4minute walk from the carpark. Due to the sulphur pools, the are does smell of rotten eggs. There is a night food market in Rotorua on Thursday nights. Happy Camping from The Flip Flop Family

Just a nice car park with great views.
Loads of spaces, not just 3. Toilets are clean and a few minutes walk away. Fine for a free night stay. Happy Camping from The Flip Flop Family

Good location but not overly impressed.
Lady at reception was cold. She did not tell us that there was a playground. We had to pay the same as others even though we were given a soggy, wet, grass site as there were no concrete sites available. The TV room is very cold and clinical (no sofa). The kitchen has no utensils and the oven was broken. The pluses are that there was a herb garden and a charge station in the kitchen, plus toys for the kids to play with.

Nothing much to say as its only really a car park for 4 vans (not 2).
There are clean toilets but no main door so can be cold. There is a picnic bench also. Seemed to be a walk through area during the day for people. Happy its available as it is a free site so thanks. Great place, lovely lady at reception.
Clean, hot showers, nice outdoor BBQ area. Trampoline and playground for the kids, walking distance to the beach. Clean kitchen and only 35$ for 2 adults for a powered site.
