Beautiful, peaceful and spectacular.
We loved passing by this great natural landmark, bonded with baby lamb and calves. Great spot to take the atmosphere in.

Great place to park up for the night.
Good toilet facilities, picturesque lake for sunrise. Large space suitable for all vehicles. Points are off for the 100s thousands of midges!

Grey River Campsite

Decent site for a free overnight stay.
Multiple walk options, decent space for smaller vehicles and tents, longdrop toilet. Unfortunately we got a flat tire as we arrived at the site. We found most the sites were really muddy and had been probably abused by 4x4s. Does the job as an overnight park up and morning walk but I’d personally not visit again.

Great campsite located just off highway 77.
This campsite in summer would be 10/10. In August the showers and main area of the campsite seem to be closed. It was 10$pp per night, which we deposited into an honesty box. Just one other camper for the night, but plenty of room for more, even in the smaller camping space.
