Really pretty site with great facilities.
Clearly has been a lot of work put into it. Has multiple undercover sitting area and toilets. Also able to have fires in designated spots. Gravel roads and parking spots. Surrounded by an amazing creek and towering mountains. Last DOCS camping site before Milford. Out money in box for ranger to collect.

Open again August 2018.
Beautiful location. All new fencing, bitumen and parking sites in place. Good longdrop toilet, didn't smell and had toilet paper. Now $8 per person per night. Lots of friendly ducks. Two hoppy ducks with wonky legs. Wanted to stay longer due to beautiful location. Would recommend.

Amazing holiday park.
Was definitely the nicest we've stayed at this far. Has multiple toilets and laundries around the park (although some are closed in quiet season). $5 for unlimited internet for 5 devices for a week (or is free if you book an activity through reception). We were parked right next to an outdoor kitchen, so we used this instead of the large indoor kitchen. The park is beautiful with many trees and heaps of unusual decorations. Good dunno station and each site has its own water hose. All very private and more like a park than a carpark. Staff very friendly and there is a cute little dog also. $55per night for 2 in a powered site. Filtered drinking water available from a tap in a well. Fantastic location for town and for gondola. We stayed 5 nights. Would recommend to anyone!

Good location right near Fox Glacier.
$35 for 2 person for powered site. Didn't use kitchen. Good wifi. Toilets and showers bit old and dirty and need a spruce up. Laundry had junk lying around. Otherwise an ok stay.

Went to the other 2 camping spots nearby, but didn't want to stay there as there were no other campers and it was a very isolated area.
This site has one other camper, and was a bit more open, so felt safer here. Another camper pulled in late at night. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views, stunning spot to stay for free.

$40 per night for 2 in a powered site.
Unlimited good internet. Good kitchen facilities. Okay showers and bathrooms, bit old, but okay. Was simple to catch the bus for a few dollars to the centre of Dunedin.

Free site, limited spaces, safe area and well sought after by free campers.
Okay public toilet a short 1 min away. Close to the beautiful town of Akaroa. Great sunrise/sunset over the water.

Good large site near road.
Was quite hilly however, but had beautiful views of lake and mountains. Felt safe as there were quite a few other campers around.
