Absolutely brilliant company to deal with.
We had a few small initial problems but Nathan and Sarah soon sorted them out. The Sunrise team are very helpful with their hints and tips and advice along the way if you need it. Don at the Koha experience is an absolute gem and his suggestions for campsites and places to visit all came up trumps. Thanks to the whole Sunrise team for making our camper van holiday in New Zealand extra special.

Location of this campsite is just amazing, right on the beach or as near as you can get!
Facilities are a little dated but perfectly fine. Showers were fine although you had to constantly push the button to keep the water on and my wife had a luke warm shower, mine was fine😀. Located a few minutes drive from the Pancake rocks and blowholes which are just amazing. Within walking distance is a pub/bar that sells food that was quite good.

Really nice site overall, however, the pitches are quite small and difficult to manoeuvre a large campervan into.
The bushes around ours required a serious trim as you couldn’t easily get to the power outlet! To be fair we pointed this out and the manager has said he’ll address this. Very good shower and kitchen facilities. The onsite restaurant and bar was excellent. Extremely conveniently located for Franz Josef glacier.

Very quirky and lovely site, within easy walking distance of Queenstown.
The pitches are a little tight but fine, we got to know our neighbours really well 😀. Free hot showers and never had to wait. Kitchen facilities great. This is a lovely little place with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a problem with a flight we had booked and the lady on reception sorted it out for us.

What a fantastic place, a haven of tranquility on the banks of the Motueka river.
Don is a lovely and very helpful man, he gave us some great tips for the rest of our trip and they all paid off. You just have to do this if in the area.

The location of this site is just amazing, right on Lake Wanaka, just fantastic views all around.
Staff really friendly and helpful and apologetic about some of the dated facilities. They told us they are being upgraded. Perfectly adequate. You do have to pay $1 for the showers. Really great location for lots of walks including Roy’s Peak. 15 minute drive into Wanaka.

Really nice site almost on the beach.
Decent sized pitch for our campervan. You can walk into the maIn town of Orewa along the beach or the coastal track and it’s about 20/30 minutes. Facilities were decent and clean.

Sites quite cosy here but nice enough and good screening in between each site.
This site is about a 15 min walk into Taupo. It’s also in the middle of a housing estate right next to a factory which can be noisy first thing in the morning. Showers good with plenty of hot water. Kitchen and BBQ facilities excellent. Probably wouldn’t return here but only because the location is not picturesque enough for us.

I’ve only given this a 6 because this site is purely a functional stopover if you’re catching the ferry.
There were only 2 showers and 2 toilets. You could use the motel toilets if needed but that was a bit of a walk. Basic kitchen facilities available. Very busy site so you need to book even in October. Showers hot and free but on a timer, perfectly adequate though.

We stayed here because we had a guided hike the next day with Adrift Outdoor Adventures which is literally 5 mins down the road.
The sites are VERY small especially for our 4 berth campervan! Facilities are adequate with plenty of free hot water in the showers but are limited to 2 shower cubicles. Kitchen small but again perfectly adequate. Absolutely stunning location with views of the mountains.
We are a small place with 9 campervans sites and 16 rooms. Our open plan lounge kitchen & dining room can be used for the campers staying overnight.

Very nice site right on the river/coastal inlet.
Really helpful lady on reception who organised a taxi for our trip in the bay of islands next day. Showers very good and plenty of FREE hot water. Laundry and kitchen facilities excellent. There’s also the bonus of food being available on the site if you don't fancy cooking. Only word of warning is that this is not really walkable to Paihia town although we did walk back one day along the coastal track but it takes about 1 hour! Loads of taxis if you want though and some restaurants pick up and drop of for free, obviously if you’re eating with them😀.
Hi Ian, Thanks for your review we are pleased you enjoyed yourself. safe travels

Nice little site on the river/creek.
Excellent location for Marlborough wine tours but not much else! Not much in Spring Creek as a town, except for shop and hotel/ bar. We were allocated the site next to ‘Eddy The Eel’ where we were continually disturbed by other thoughtless campers. The pitch was a good size. Facilities ok but nothing special and as mentioned by others showers $1 for 5 mins, water nice and hot though. One thing that did put us off this site is the ‘permanent’ very old caravans that actually give you the wrong impression as you enter the site.
