Kerosene Creek

Went to Kerosene Creek in on a rainy day in October in hope to find it less crowded.
Wasn’t too busy but still a lot of people. People who would wash themselves up stream obviously with normal soap, people who would sit in there brushing their teeth and spit, full diapers and other rub Bush left on the side of the stream. Decided not to take a bath.

Great hike up to the hut (and the summit!!).
If you’re just moderately fit, take your time and stay in the hut. Making it up and down in one day is possible but a challange if you’re not a sportive person.
Track is easy to find with a lot of steep “stairs” and can be very slippery after rain. So don’t attempt in rainy weather.
