A good place to get your walk on - Four tracks start from this point.
Nice and quiet with a large grassy area - You won't be disturbed when doing your early morning Yoga session.

Small carpark, surrounded by trees and a great grassy area with picnic tables.
There's a 30 minute loop track nearby - a bonus in the morning before you get back on the road. Thumbs up.

Busy through the day, but in the evening she quietens down.
All goodness. Picnic area is great for an evening cheeky vino.

Well this place is truly an alpine vista.
It's a large area to find a private place and take it all in. I feel like an eagle on my nest....

One of the bigger camping carparks around.
There's lots of space, primo views and a very mellow scene indeed. A big DOC info centre is handy for all your questions about Egmont National Park and life in general for that matter.

I reckon that 2 days here is a must.
Heaps of walks, long and short, take your pick. Remember a warm hat as this place is at high altitude. Which makes for great views, but remember that in winter it snows up here. To say that the native bush here is mature, is an understatement - it feels prehistoric. A must in the Naki.

Close to the road.
Small carpark. Still a good one to have up your sleeve.

Good place for walking and chilling out under the big Redwood Trees when it's hot.
It's a very tight road in a larger vehicle. Best for van sized campers. Space for around 4 vehicles max. It seems like the sort of place where local youth congregate on a weekend for a kiss and a cuddle.

I love this place.
The sunsets are amazing. Looking out over the sea, then looking back at Mt Taranaki. Primo. The best way to describe this place is Raw and Exposed. I'd be keen to be here in a storm. If you made it through to the other side, you would be changed!
