Milford Sound is one of those places you have heard of and seen on travel shows, and thought; one day, id like to see that.
It is not until you actually reach there, absorbed in the majestic surrounds and vastness of natural beauty, that your so glad this place has never left your ‘to do’ list.
I traveled by coach from Queenstown - a really good deal with Southern Discoveries which included a Free Buffet for lunch, the coach driver was great, funny, a kiwi with a wealth of knowledge on our travels. Once onboard cruising on a classy catamaran, the scenery takes your breath away! Milford is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in, an absolute highlight of my travels, peaceful, surreal, majestic, all describe it, but the feeling and grand beauty is mesmerizing. Highly recommend taking the time to experience this trip, to a place you’ll never forget...
