Really friendly and helpful staff.
Able to tell us about bus times into town, recommendations for food and arranged a late check out for us for free.
Pitches were fairly tight but fine. Showers and toilets were fine. They have two blocks a main once plus a smaller block which is nearer for some of the pitches.
Dump station available with hand washing facilities.
Location was good - right on a bus route into town with regular buses.
Thanks Bex and Jake for your great comments, the bus stop to the CBD is at our front gate.
Cheers

Stunning location right by the lake.
Great stop off between Queenstown and Christchurch.
Hot water is limited to 6 minutes with a slightly odd timing system with 3 minute waits between hot water showers.
We paid for WiFi but it was good and were able to access in camper.

Stayed for one night before Kaikoura whale watch tour (which was incredible).
Super convenient to get there in the morning (2min drive with free parking if your on the tour)
Had free hot tubs - but they weren't that warm! Kitchen facilities were good. Showers were good and hot but the shower block is a bit cold (we stayed in May though).
Staff were friendly and location had incredibly pretty mountain views.

Beautiful location.
Super helpful for booking activities and advice on what to do. Able to walk from the campsite round the bay and into the national park - stunning costal walk. Good location with pub and burger place nearby.
Showers and toilets really nice and new. Cooking and eating facilities were great. Pots, pans etc. free to use. Open fire in the cooking area kept it warm on cool nights. Great atmosphere around camp with plenty of backpackers coming through. Really good value for what we got.

Great location.
Facilities were excellent huge almost professional kitchen (had to bring own pots and pans). Excellent showers and toilets.
Dump station and water outside of the main campsite.

Short drive from the ferry.
We arrived and the helpful lady at reception was able to get us on a last minute wine tour - despite us missing the last departure time. :)
Have to pay for hot showers - $1/ 5 mins.
Not the prettiest campsite but still had a nice atmosphere.

Good location near the lake.
Able to borrow spades (with deposit) to dig your own thermal hit pool. Showers were good.
We appreciate our review. Thank you.

Little bit out of Wellington but on a pretty marina.
We were able to walk into central Wellington but it's up a steep hill and takes 30 mins ish.
Toilets dump and water were quite far away from where you can park and were standard public toilets.
We had showers at the huge leisure centre round the corner. (You have to pay $3.50 per person).

Really cool location.
Reception helpful (although busy at times). Arrived and were able to book in for free for a private sauna and hot tub available on site.
Kitchen facilities were great - have to bring your own pots and pans.
Onsite restaurant and bar was really nice. Great food and a good atmosphere.
WiFi was free and worked across site.
Felt really good value.

Arrived late and in the dark so it was a bit difficult to find and once we did it was difficult to work out if it was closed or not.
There are 'ensuite' shower and toilet blocks but when we got there they were locked and the water had been shut off. This was reflected in the price but wasnt in the campsite info so not being able to shower was a bit annoying.
Location was really pretty and perfect for a stop off between Milford and Queenstown.

Really good location for going into town and for the gondola.
Showers and toilets were big but seemed to get dirty quickly after cleaning. Free WiFi was only available for the first day of your stay.
Kitchen facilities weren't great given how expensive it was - old ceramic style electric hobs which took ages to heat up and some didn't work.
Would recommend based on the location.

We arrived late after reception had closed but we were able to ring a buzzer to get someone to come down.
Showers and toilets were lovely but it was expensive.

Just what we needed to pull into after a long drive.
We found it easy enough to find. Just drive slowly down the road and look out for the right drive to pull into. Beautiful location. You just parkbup on a big gravel car park off a quiet road. We were met by a friendly duck in the morning. Toilets good given its free. Suggested $5 donation for the night. Perfect.

Beautiful campsite.
We were off season so we're able to turn up without booking in advance. But it's the only place out there so bit of a risk and it's expensive.
Facilities were ok. Not enough toilets and showers. Kitchen and lounge area were great. Staff helpful at booking you onto tours. Staff also advised us not to book for two nights - as most people do their tour and go - which was good advice.
No supermarket nearby so worth stocking up before you arrive.

Turned up after dark and they were helpful and welcoming.
Pitches well set out. Internet available but we could only get signal near reception. Showers powerful and hot. Friendly atmosphere around camp. We were given free food by departing guests!
