We hired the Fiat Ducato 2 berth camper for four weeks and had a great time.
The van is perfect for two people. It was nice to have a separate sitting and sleeping area. The van was pretty good on mileage and made our trip much more enjoyable. It is self contained, so you will be able to use it for freedom camping. Ross was very helpful during the booking process and also during our trip. We had a few issues on pick up, but Ross helped us out very efficiently and got us on our way as soon as possible. I would highly recommend using CamperCo for your New Zealand road trip.

We ended up spending two nights here due to problems with out campervan.
Enjoyed our stay very much. Had a site next to the river. Showers are good, cost $2 for 8 minutes. We didn't use the pool and hot tubs, but they looked very nice.

Easy acces to the city by bus, takes about 30 minutes (nr.
2 and nr. 24). We arrived around 3 pm and the carpark was filling up fast, so get there in time. 2 public toilets at the end of the carpark. Street noise wasn't to bad, bring some earplugs just in case.

Ideal location if you are doing the crossing.
Unfortunately we had bad weather so ended up doing some alternative walks, the silica rapids and the taranaki falls. Camping sites are set up nice, spots are large enough. Kitchen, showers and toilets were clean and showers were free. Great place for a couple of nights!

Great location, next to kuirau park and walking distance to the centre.
Facilities on the camping are great, clean toilets and nice and hot showers. Camping itself is pricey.
