Very disappointed with this site.
Firstly it was the most expensive and had the worst facilities. The DOC facilities we had already used at earlier sites in the South were much better than these. To have a light go off while you are sitting on the toilet or worse in the shower because its on a sensor was stupid. The facilities were run down. We got the impression they were spending all there energy's on the cafe, which we found to be overpriced but nice.
We would not choose to stay here again.

This Site is a lovely spot, right on the beach, nice toilet block and the DOC host is awesome.

Very nice site.
Love the way it is sectioned out for different sized campers and tent sites. Very nice toilets block with a shower..cold but if you need one..better than nothing :) Nice easy walk to the beach. Close to the ferry, which makes it a nice spot to either start your adventure in the South Island or to end it.

A nice wee place to stop for a night.
Toilets are not the best, the noise when we were there was really loud due to loading of a vessel in the container depot all night. But it was free and nice and central. Woke up to a nice view of snow on the mountains.

This site is a special place...and we must say a huge thank you to the Grey District and the people of Greymouth for allowing campers to use this carpark and toilets free of charge.
Get there early enough so you can get a prime site facing the sea, and you will get rewarded with a stunning sunset.

This was our introduction to campervaning and motor camps, and we have to say it was a brilliant introduction.
The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The facility,s were great. We only stayed one night, but would have happily stayed longer, and hopefully will stay there again. Price was very reasonable.
Thankyou for your feedback, my staff appreciate your great feedback.

We stayed the night here before heading to Arthurs Pass the next morning.
It was blowing a gale and rained almost all the time we were there, but it didn't take away from the natural beauty of this site. Toilets were good, views amazing. The night sky (when the rain stopped) was terrific. Not many spaces so don't leave it too late to arrive

This spot is a Jem, and a highlight of our resent South Island Trip.
The views are spectacular, even the night sky was awesome. Daughter took some amazing photo. Tip Dont leave it too late to get there for a prime spot. Toilets are a bit of hit and miss. But there are some at the Isite a few minutes down the road.

This is what started out to be the first of many swing bridges on our South Island Trip.
What a way to start....The drive there is nice, until we got to the entrance..They are working on the road and car parks, which by the looks of them really needed it, so I'm not gonna complain, just take extra care. The walk to the bridge is awesome, nice short and not too much of a steep grade. Perfect for those of us with disabilities The view from the look out is awesome and well worth the drive out there. The water I thought was amazing, but a local told us it was Milky..either way it was cool.
