Absolutely amazing place.
The peace and surrounds were incredible. Clean drop toilets. Be careful choosing your spot, a small campervan got bogged while we were there. There were several sea lions on the beach. It's not far off the main road, well worth the effort, not at all difficult in a motorhome.

Very scenic spot, seemed to be free as we couldn't find anywhere to pay.
Laundromat nearby. We ended up here because the spot at Queen Elizabeth II at Nelson had a few drunk gents hanging around.

This one was a bit hard to rate.
It's very expensive, but the facilities are great, terrific location and lovely staff. I guess I was a bit shocked by the price rise - $50 for two adults, plus $20 for two kids when I was expecting $35 plus 2x $7.50.
We are lucky to be so close to town, playground and the harbour so location is the best. having penguins onsite is also abit of a bonus.

Such a great spot in September, only one other camper, hot showers, campfire, amazing sunset.
Great to see the money going into predator control. Cheaper than Otto McDonald with better amenities, not many sandflies.

Didn't manage to spot the penguin, despite waiting patiently from 4pm-6pm, but that's nature for you!

It's an amazing location for sure.
The facilities seemed good but the shower system is odd - the countdown starts as soon as you put the coins in - would have been good to know given that 8 year old and I were fully dressed in warm layers - wasted a few minutes getting undressed. It was unexpected given that the coin slot is outside of the shower cubicle, so you would really have to completely strip, then go out of the cubicle to start the shower.
