Great campsite!
The parking is really big and we were only two campervans. On the morning, you can walk 10 minutes (cross the road and then follow the arrows) and on 10am the river dam opens his sluice gates so you can see the water going down, which is beautiful!
The only problem here is that the parking is titled, we tried to find a spot where it was better but it was all the same, but no matter, still a very nice place!

Really nice walks!
We really liked it, but the time which is indicated is a bit wrong... We took half of it (but we were still taking pictures everytime). I think even kids can do it, it's really nice to visit!
The landscapes are great!

Really nice place!
The parking is quite little so it's better to come early, but the toilets are not far away (and very clean). The parking is right next to the museum, which is beautiful, even yhe night! The lake is not far away too, so you can go there and have a little walk, it's so nice with all those birds!
Also it's right in town so you don't have to take the bus or something to go there, it's really useful!
The only problem is the fountain... It makes a lot if noise and it doesn't syop during the night...

Really nice place, right next to the river!
There is a lot of place here, and toilets are really clean. One of the best free campsites in NZ!

Nice camping!
A bit expensive I think, but the facilities are really good, the showers and the toilets are really clean, the kitchen too, and the hot pool is really nice (even if it's for kids. there is only 1.1m depth and it's not big so you can't swim like if you swim when you're doing sport, but still nice)
We really liked this place!

The pool is amazing, really hot and relaxing!
Nice camping, with good facilities (toilets, showers etc)
Anyway it's quite expensive, we paid ~115$ for a powered site (1 night) with for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children of 13 and 16). I think it's really expensive for what you get, okay it's a nice place but the wifi was limited to 250 MB... Also Miranda is not a city, there is absolutely nothing here except cows so you can't really do something there, except enjoying the facilities of the camping!

I didn't feel like this place was amazing...
You have to park in a field next to several houses, and the toilets are a bit far away if you want to go there the night. Also there was not enough place for us so we stayed outside the 2 arrows (we didn't have anywhere else to go and it was already the night), like another campervan... Nothing happened to us though

Really nice place!
Only 5$ by campervan, with really clean toilets, powered site, water for the campervan etc...
Also it's right in town so really nice if you just want to buy something.
It's a bit noisy in the morning but not a real nuisance!
