My wife and I had the recent opportunity raft the Grade 3 white-water section of the Tongariro River with Tongariro River Rafting.

It was an absolute blast!

Our guide was fantastic, was very informative and she encouraged us to ask questions about the river, the area and wildlife she was a helluva rafter. He gave us clear instructions yet still made the trip very fun. Hot chocolate and chocolate fish a great personal touch.

We would absolutely use Tongariro River Rafting again and certainly recommend to visitors to the area. A fantastic trip and the chance see a part of the Tongariro River that cannot be visited any other way.
