Camp kitchen scrupulously clean but absolutely barren, nothing at all, not very good as you are not able to pop down to the shops easily.
We had a cabin, again no crockery or cutlery supplied, luckily we had brought food that we didn't need to cook, or we would have had to eat raw food, managed to find some take away cups in the car to drink out of.
Sad that the DOC site doesn't mention to bring EVERYTHING including the kitchen sink!! We were not impressed.

The worst place I have ever stayed, in either Australia or NZ.
Absolutely disgusting place, self check in ok, BUT unable to supposedly check out the place beforehand as there is a big notice saying you fill be fined if you go on site without checking in! SO - you have to pay and go there to find out it is an absolute dump. A filthy tiny camp kitchen. A cabin with a couple of chairs in - was this the lounge???? And a couple of wooden table and benches with gas burners on them!!! Thank goodness we were only staying one night and were self contained, I really felt sorry for the poor backpackers who were there.
I am sorry you did not read the signage correctly and did not enjoy your stay. The sign says to leave your van at the front, the check in instructions say please walk and look at the sites and facilities before paying, walking disturbs other guests far less than driving around to choose a site.
Our aim is to offer the cheapest sites in the area and to include unlimited free wifi, free hot showers, free BBQ area, access to a laundry and small kitchen, water you can drink, proper bathrooms in the price.

Lovely place for even a few days stop.
The Hangar is great, clean, neat and tidy. Shower and toilet area good. Lounge area to front a bit tired looking but everything needed is there.
All in all a good place for an overnight stop.priced right too.

Great little park, love it, sites large enough to fit in out huge hired camper vans.
position ideal for walk into town, ( an easy 1 km) Park not too large, but in a beautiful wooded setting.. Camp kitchen best equiped I have EVER come across. Lounge area somewhat dated, but still sooo comfy and wood heater would be great in cold weather -( we were here when it was warm). Beautiful walk behind camp along stream.
Showers and toilets clean. Could do with some kind of board to stand on - floors get very wet.
All staff so helpful.

Nice little country park, bush settings for sites some with hedge dividers.
Able to just go and chose our own site. Camp kitchen very clean and adequately stocked .
Lounge area a bit tired looking and smelled damp, but we did use it.
Nice wooded camping areas to back of park where walks are to the river.
Toilets and showered dated but this doesn't matter as they were clean and tidy. Dump point very accessible and staff very helpful and welcoming
$40 per powered site for 2 people reasonable.

Nice park, well located for town.
Clean showers, good kitchen and lounge area, a bit pricey, especially as they advertise spa & sauna but on arrival found there is a cost of $50!!! False advertising????
Quite squashy sites, or was that because we had big vans and other larger sites were occupied?
