When we stayed the site was full due to an event in Wanaka.
Lots of pitches, very modern showers and toilets, no paying for hot water, showers were very good. New kitchen area to but they need more fridge freezers as there was not enough room and we’re pretty sure they’ve not been emptied for a while as one of them really smelt of off food and we saw a tub of pasta with mould on it. You have to pay for wifi but the connection is good.

Decent campsite on a relatively quiet part of the road.
Slightly further out of Wanaka but only a 5 minute drive away. Good internet connection and it’s free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets and kitchens are quite dated though, most of the plugs in one of the kitchens didn’t work. Seemed a bit pricey when considering the standard of the facilities available.

Close to the town centre, we walked a few times as it’s a nice walk along the side of the lake.
No lake view for most campers but we didn’t mind. Good, modern showers and toilets and a good kitchen area but no pots, pans to borrow if you don’t have much yourself. Internet was quite slow but the campsite was busy when we were there.
