Our day with Roy Thompson was totally entertaining and informative for the many places we visited in Nelson.
Roy has lived his whole life in this region and personally knows the local artists, farmers, and owners of the fruit orchards, B & B's, restaurants, wineries, etc. He is a local favorite which opened so many friendly doors for us to meet so many Kiwis! He is proud of his home town and loves to show visitors why this region is such a favorite area for so many New Zealanders to live and play. It is now our favorite area of New Zealand!

Our expierence with Noel Kennedy (now owner of Wine, Art & Wilderness Tours) was exceptional.
His knowledge of the surrounding area of Nelson, Abel Tasman and the Marlbourough Wine country was outstanding. He is especially knowlegable of the mountains and lakes in the region. Since we were a small group, he impressed us with customizing our days of adventure. He always had his "secret surprises" to add to our already wonderful day. He does aim to please!

Service by the boat captains we met was outstanding!
They were friendly, very helpful, and all seemed to love their job. They are very knowledgeable about the Marlborough Sounds waterways. The staff in the office were also great!

This award winning Maori family business is a must for any visitor who wants an authentic Maori cultural expierence.
See the famous whale watch in Kaikoura, however allow time for this half daytour with a small group that has a personal touch with the family and appreciation of the local area and Maori traditions. Our expierence was one of the highlights of our trip because we were able to participate in Maori traditions.

Our time with guide/own Peter Blackmore left us with lasting memories of historical information about this stunning premier wine region.
Peter takes you beyond the typical "wine tour'. Having lived his entire life in the region and also having farmed the area his knowledge is superior and he has a way of telling historical stories as well as giving one an in depth look at the wine industry. He is the best in the region!

What a perfect fall day we had for our full day tour.
Tour- Akaora & Banks Peninsula
Our guide, John Holton (also the owner) did an outstanding job. His knowledge of the area and the historical and eco information he gave us enroute kept us totally entertained and learning about the places we saw. The van was clean and comfortable and we made several interesting stips. The French town of Akaora and the Banks Penninsula is not to be missed. The best way to enjoy it is to go with Canterbury Trails!

What a WOW expierence!
Starting with Lynn in the Auckland terminal who gave us exceptionally good service helping with our logistic planning to the piolts and Bay of Islands staff, all were great!
We were lucky enough to have 2 perfect days of weather for our flights! The scenery was breath-taking. It truly was the best way to experience the beauty of the top of the North Island. The extra activities were fun and informitive. Treat yourself, take a Salt Air Flight!
