Although we have lived in the Tongariro area for some time and have rafted previously, I had never rafted on the Tongariro River until late February this year.

We were lucky enough to raft on a quieter day with only the guide and a young Scotish couple so we had plenty of action and an awesome time. I even jumped into the river from the rock (and apparently screamed loudly). This is an activity that can be enjoyed by young and old alike but certainly enhanced by the exceptional service of TRR Staff. Thanks Team TRR for making this a memorable day for a couple of "oldies"!!
