Absolutely stunning place owned by a lovely kiwi couple who opened up their homes to create a campsite for us campers.
They allow tents, non-SC, SC and all motorhomes. The place is quite new and it's a work in progress, but what they already have is great. They've got an old cowshed converted into a lounge with comfortable seating, few books, games and jigsaws. There's two flush toliets, a sink where you can do your dishes (water is drinkable) and recycling bins. There's a kettle, a toaster and a microwave too, which most campsites would not offer! There's a brand new hot shower just outside the shed (not attached to it). The owners also have two dogs, Lucy and Caesar and they're just gorgeous!
All that, including the views and farmy/homey feeling for the price of $10 pp per night! Don't miss out, it's a gem!

Lovely spot by the beach (just over a small hill, can't be seen from the camping spot).
It's for 1 night only and got clean toilets (sand on the floor but that's expected), picnic tables, great views. Free for all types of camping (tents, not SC and SC).
Fills up quickly and not a lot of space, it's not "straight parking" either which makes it a bit awkward with the spacing. Camping grounds were filled up around 18.30, so get here in time.
