Excellent from the minute you walk through the doors: great staff, top safety instruction, first-class equipment...
AND THEN the excitement of a very fun river with knowledgeable guides full of stories and humor. We have rafted in CA and Western US and Central America, others in the group were first timers. All of us had an exciting and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Topping it off we got to soak in hot springs and were later further warmed with hot soup and bread. Couldn't have been better - except possibly if we could have done it again the following day! Thank you Ben, Toby, Thomo, Garth and everyone - super experience! We'll be back as soon as we can.

Highlight of our trip!
Sean and Sean could not have been more knowledgeable or passionate about the wildlife and making sure we had an enjoyable experience. We were a small group and so lucky! We saw at least a dozen penguin - some only a few feet away. Huge sea lions. Many fur seals and pups, four majestic teenage albatross flying, lots of shore birds. Would go back in a second and we recommend to everyone. Thank you Elm Wildlife for being there to protect and inform about these marvelous creatures. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful experience on Milford Sound enhanced by knowledgeable, informative guide - and impressive rain!
The waterfalls were just more plentiful. Don't fear going out in the rain. Guide gave us confidence, made sure we were warm, safe and having fun. The equipment was first-class, safety instructions handled well. We are 55+, others in group 20's/30's. We want to repeat this experience with Fiordland, and maybe do Doubtful Sound next time, too.

So glad we went with Dolphin Encounter.
Knowledgeable, informative guides enhance experience - get you close, teach you how to interact but let the dolphins be dolphins - no baiting. About as close to in the wild as it gets given that there are a number of us out there. Good equipment, keep you warm with wetsuit and warm water hose. Hot chocolate and cookies a treat. We had super time!
