Excellent museum, which gave a wonderful insight into the old logging industry and conditions the workers endured.
It really brought the pioneering spirit to life, albeit a grim hard existence. We spent over 2 hours there. Recommended.

The worst campsite we visited during 5 weeks of travelling.
The showers and kitchen were absolutely filthy and they had the audacity to charge $30 for this! Internet was charged at $5 for 15 minutes. Never again! You have been warned.

Excellent value for money.
Brendan was a great guide who always gave you confidence in all the pursuits.
Really enjoyed the trip, despite being a 57 year old virgin in abseiling and rock climbing! Highly recommended.

Lovely convenient location for Waitomo caves.
It was one of the more spacious Top !0s we have visited and was the cleanest( not that any have been dirty!) The reception staff were very helpful and things like free spa and swimming pool and DVDs provided a nice touch.
