1. On internet booking stated sleeping bags included - in practice non given, would have brought our own.
This would of been higher for the following reasons:-

Why were we expected to pay $7500 up front + taken off our credit card? This would have taken all our holiday money. We paid the excess to avoid the $7,500. Then had to do a full check of the vehicle for scratches etc, as we were lead to believe new scratches would'nt be covered? Our advice to would be travellers read the small print thoroughly and don't be caught out. Check out other van sites.

Thank you for your review. It is concerning to hear that sleeping bags were not included with your campervan. All living equipment including bedding is included standard with an Apollo rental. Although vehicles do undergo a quality control process, if items are accidentally left out our team will happily supply them on request.
You are correct in saying that there is no refund for returning the gas bottle full - we do supply the gas bottle full, and encourage clients to return their vehicle with an empty bottle.
With regards to our liability options, while our standard liability is as per most rental companies, we do appreciate that this is a significant amount for most travellers. For this reason, we offer two liability reduction options for your peace of mind.
It is our policy to perform a detailed inspection of all rental vehicles before they leave the branch, and we do require that customers sign a condition report on pick-up to ensure any existing damage has been acknowledged. We pride ourselves on offering quality vehicles at great rates, and try to make our terms and conditions accessible and easy to understand.

Rhys our bus driver/tour guide for journey to + from Milford was excellent very knowledgeable liked his humour.
Likewise the guides on the boat were v. good (cant remember the names sorry!) This is a trip not to be missed.
