A good stop near the airport for arrivals or departures.
This is a large park with good facilities. Reception is huge and very capable. There is even drive through check in! There is a supermarket, shopping mall and dining options within 10 minutes walking distance. Very convenient to the airport. Nice staff and the facilities were clean and modern. Good Park.

This is nothing but a place to park for the night.
It is a paved parking lot for the river trail. It is free. Pancake rocks are a short distance down the road and really pretty. Lot is just off the main road but surprisingly quiet - there were no cars from about sunset till 6:30 am. In April there were about 6 campers there and plenty more room. There are no facilities on site. Didn't go to the pub across the road. There are tons of sand flies so beware of that. We stayed inside.

This was my wife's favorite park because of the heated thermal pool.
The swim up bar is a nice touch! Chips were hot and crust and the beer cold and tasty. There is even an outdoor movie screen at the pool for the kids. Good place for families. It was a little noisy during the day due to what sounded like a shooting range nearby. Quiet enough at night.

I liked this park.
It is small but quant. We were parked in the back by the trees and creek and it was nice. If you want to see Nelson, this works. Downtown is walkable - about 25 minutes. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
Thank you for your comments, it is great to hear that you found our holiday park conveniently located and clean and that our staff were friendly. Hope to see you again soon.

Loved this park.
Stunning views, plenty of space and nice facilities. Staff was great at check in giving us a plan of attack. No complaints at all. My favorite park. My wife's second.

Small park but convenient for heading downtown.
Number 3 bus runs by every half hour right to the octagon. $3.40. Nice park like seeing in the trees. Quiet with a stream running behind many sites. Shower block was a bit cold but plenty of hot water. Not fancy but did the job.

Right beside a huge beach and a long walkway.
Great location if you want to be near the beach. It's busy. We got the last powered spot say 4 pm on Easter weekend, Good Friday. Lots of families with kids. It was quite lively during the day but really quieted down by about 10 pm. There are dining options nearby too.

Came here because the last place was too windy.
That was a mistake. The wind picked up at sunset and howled all night. It was not a restful night. The site is grass and mud but mostly mud in the rain. There is a slight pitch to most of the spots down to the water. The view is nice. The bathrooms were ok but not great. I'd pass on this if the weather is iffy.

This is a beautiful spot if the weather cooperates.
Lies up on the bluffs behind the golf course overlooking the ocean. We didn't stay because the wind was too strong. There is absolutely no shelter. No facilities.

This is a great little destination spot.
The park is pretty big but located back in the trees so it is quiet at night. There is an on site fish and chips and burger shack. They have all the necessary facilities and a very helpful staff. Hot water beach is a pleasant 10 minute walk through the woods and there are glow worms in the rocks at night. Nice spot. The kitchen gets a lot of action!
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your awesome review - hope you had a wonderful holiday.

This is a nice little park in a pretty little town.
We liked it a lot. You are right across the street from the lake and right next to the town. Beautiful waking. The park itself is a little tight but quite nice. The staff was very friendly. Lots of things to do here.
