The best Top 10 on my trip.
Somehow this site was more cozier than others. Kitchens very clean and more spacious, and you could use all the pots and pans needed.
Thanks Pirita. We like being "cosier". That nicely sums up how we feel about what we do.

One of the best camping experiences in NZ even though sandflies were plentiful.
But the location and the landscapes, and the river flowing next to campsite made it all good. Fire permitted, bring your own firewood. Clean drop toilet. Lots of space. Some tables around for cooking.

Very nice free campsite by a lake on the way to Arthur's Pass.
Lots of space, can be a bit windy but hey we're in the mountains. Clean long drop toilets. Good camping.

I think for paid campsites I liked this the best on my trip to NZ.
I mean all the Top 10's are great but this was awesome. Everything was clean, there were pots and stuff to use in kitchen for free. No time limits for hot showers. The owner was very nice and helpful. 16 dollars per person. Also, Nugget Point with Yellow-eyed Penguins are closeby (8km) and the Pub in Kaka Point is very cozy. Highly recommend if you want some change for Top 10s.

Very nice free car park for all vehicles.
Instructions on site were very good. It was nice to find one free car park for a regular car. However regular car places on this site were also filled with campervans eventually. Be early. Clean toilets and a beach closeby.
