One of the best places we stayed in New Zealand!
Very quiet, at the small river. No toilets, it's really in the nature 😀. Barbecue place where you can plug in your gas bottle. Table and benches to sit. Well accessible with small campervan, could be more difficult with a large one.

Very nice spot at the bay, space for 5-10 campervans, no sandflies (November), public toilet nearby.
Next to street, therefore some noise, but not many vehicles on this road. Can be accessed via Dyers Pass (steep and curvy) or via Lyttleton.

One of the nicest spots we've been, if there were no sandflies (November).
In the evening we couldn't get out of the car without long sleeves /trousers and insect repellant. During the day/at the sun its better. There is a little river flowing into the lake right there, so a good place for bathing.

Nice spot at the beach, very quiet.
Toilet available but a 400m to walk. Easily accessible also for bigger vans, space for 5-10 campervans. Barbecue place available but you need to bring wood.
