Heaven of free camping.
Toilet basic but clean; its biodegradable so yes it will smell. Very well maintained, power supplied, WiFi and a bonus in the form of Don and his little companion! There is one downside; one night only!

The park itself is not really big but some nice walks. Go see the Kiwi and if interested, the Maori Culture show.

When the weather is clear, it is mesmerising! Day 2, start early before the day tourists come! Huts are clean and nice rangers!
