Nice quiet camp spot just off the road along Haast Pass about halfway between Wanaka and West Coast.
Not alot of room, but beautiful none the less. Pristine creek just next to the camp running into the main river. Just nice.

Staff friendly and accommodating.
Average facilities, but still rebuilding after the earthquake damage. Expensive for a tiny patch to park the van. Nothing fancy but again, recovering from earthquake. Was our first night of a 2 week trip. Worked for us for a late check in close to Christchurch. Worth a look, see how the reno's go!

Great quiet grassy sites literally next to the beach.
Staff are great, helpful and accommodating with heaps of local knowledge. Park facilities are good and well kept with hot shower and well set up kitchen/seating area. Very nice little park and at reasonable rates.

Wow! Amazing site at the base of the huge intimidating snow covered Mount Cook.
Great walks, great facilities with a fully enclosed communal shelter for cooking etc. which was great to get away from the wind and cold. The sheer beauty of this place can never be put into words, with its snow capped peaks and glacier with icebergs, am I dreaming? it's not to be missed when in the South Island. Possibly my favourite place in NZ!!

Beautiful picture perfect views over Lake Mapourika.
BRAND NEW TOILETS, and taps etc so perfect facilities. Hopefully no more complaints from people about no water etc. Either way, a top spot.
