We had a nearly perfect experience with Kia Ora campers over 18 days on the south island of New Zealand.
We had a Mercedes Nomad 3 berth and the van was great for our adventure. It was reliable, well maintained, and had wonderful amenities. Even though we had an issue at the start with our rear battery, it was resolved quickly and without any issues after this. Highly recommend this boutique company and thanks to Steve for all his help! Last but not least, Rankers is the best!

As usual, Rankers is the absolute best service in booking a camper in NZ.
This time Claudia was extremely hands on and helpful to find us the perfect home on wheels for our south island adventure. I can't say enough how amazing Rankers is, and have been recommending to anyone we know that is thinking about a New Zealand trip!

Listen, for a campervan rental at low low prices, this place can be great.
However, the van my wife and I got was basically just a rental car with a hacked together semi-bed made of wooden planks and gym mats. Their staff is not particularly helpful either, and they refused to give us even one day's worth of refund when we were forced to return the car ealry. If you are a single person on an extreme budget, and don't care about a comfortable car/experience or actual customer service, go for these guys. Anyone else? Stay far, far away.
