We went on a jet boat ride on the Waikato River.
Fun, thrilling and informative. Absolutely stunning views of the river! A little expensive though and minus points for not being allowed to take your own pictures.

Stunning views, cozy huts, lots of beautiful beaches for a swim.
We especially enjoyed the more remote part of the track, going from Totaranui to Whariwarangi.

Even though we went on a misty day the walk was amazing.
Beautiful waterfalls, cool alpine vegetation and volcanic landscapes. Perfect for a shorter walk (about 2 hours) in Tongariro.

We are very happy with our self contained campervan which has got pretty much everything you need and has been functioning flawlessley.
Phone contact with the company has been great. However, the introductory tour of the car felt rushed and inadequate.

10km one way, so if you want to start and finish at the same place you need to walk the same track back.
