Nice campsite with river running behind.
Nothing special but convenient for botanic gardens. Only 1 shared toilet block open as they are renovating which meant very cramped & wait for showers.

Stayed 2 nights due to inclement weather.
Couldn't think of a better place. Lots of funky places in town within walking distance to while away a rainy day. We had an amazing waterfront spot to ourselves with uninterrupted water views. Great local cafe with burgers to die for and even a sea lion lazing on beach directly in front. Only criticism is only 2 showers.
Lovely you had a relaxing stay. Its so nice to have town, playground , penguins all within walking distance.

Stayed here 1 night right on lake.
Really beautiful spot with plenty of space and outlook to die for. The only downside was the ground can get muddy after rain. Definitely recommend.

Very quiet location with well spaced grassed campsites but bit on the expensive side.
They also charge extra $2 to pay with credit card!
Facilities basic but OK but shower timers bit annoying as they have to be reset every 30 sec but lots of free hot water. Nice walks nearby.

Excellent spot for overnight stop with amazing views of snow capped mountains over lake.
Can get crowded so get in early and can be very windy so pick spot carefully.

Very beautiful spot and very quiet. Amenities a bit basic and limited wifi reception but otherwise good. Owners very friendly. Recommend.

Brand new shower block with the most amazing individual shower enclosures with unlimited hot water highly recommend.
