Arrived after hours and friendly manager helped with check in.
Separate powered sites with only 2 toilets but unlimited hot showers, separated from kitchen and other facilities, no access to the river. We were the only one in the whole campground early August. No wifi and weak connection. Paid $36 for 2 pax for a powered site. Went over for the unpowered site areas to have a look. Stunning place, would be giving a 10/10 if I stay there. Amazing view at Pelorus River, great kitchen and toilet facilities. Well maintained and beautiful. There are some walks to the waterfall or forest, only if we have time. Take unpowered site if you visit here. Also the cafe looks great, give it a try if you can.

A park by the motorway but also by the lakeside.
Amazing view at night. Arrived after hours but friendly manager came to assist. Small kitchen and no in-door seating area. Toilets by pincode. There is complimentary wifi. 50 cents for a short hot shower. $4 each for laundry and dryer. But clothes were still damp after drying. Paid $29 for 2 pax for a powered site. Reasonably priced and pleased with stay.
Thanks for the review. Just to update you we now have undercover seating and BBQs next to the kitchen and the showers are also free :) We also have a full indoor kitchen area and TV lounge on the other side of the park (across the road).

Paid $40 for 2 pax for a powered site and $5 for 1GB wifi.
It is not crowded during our travel in August. If it is, it would be quite a cramped site area. Decent kitchen and amazing toilet facilities. Unlimited hot showers and there is a hair dryer. Very modern toilet block. Pleased with stay.

Amazing kitchen facilities and decent showers, just require constant tapping on the button for continuous shower. Complimentary hi-speed wifi. Nice mountain and beach view in the morning. Paid $40 for 2 pax for a powered site. Site is huge and spacious. Very nice stay. $4 for washer, $5 for dryer (or the other way round)

Lovely free campsite in the city.
Feel safe as there are a lot of other vans and motorhomes. Arrived late at 9pm but there are still spaces in late July. There is 2 toilets available 24/7 for campers, around 200m water. There is a dump station. Decent place for a short stay in Wellington. Nice view of the bay.

Arrived late hours, but there is a note saying find a site and pay the next day. Paid $38 for 2 pax for a powered site. Kitchen and showers toilet were very decent and great. Unlimited hot showers. Nice view of Lake Hawea. Very huge camp area and there are rabbits around. $4 for washer, $2 for dryer.
