Amazing spot, very clean car park gravel with nice landscaping, here in August, 6 vans, very safe.
On beach front. No facilities but i/site is 1km away and 1km to Pancake Rocks. Thanks for providing!

Came in winter (August) arrived late, didn't make full use.
Nice landscape space on lake, ideal location for Franz Josef. Picnic area. Toilets open 24/7 better at Otto, drop only at MacDonald. Pricey at $13.50 p/p/n letter honesty box have to put slip in window once paid. 8 due to price.

Stayed in August.
2 girls felt a little unsafe/dodgy area arriving late at night (10pm). Only camper around staying on street parking basically, unclear where applied as applicable places to stay.
Toilets only open 8am - 5pm but cleaned daily very clean.
I-site 2 minute drive away amazing facilities $2 private shower for 20 minutes hot water open from 9am. Supermarkets (countdown etc) all close by!
However only free place to stay round there so thanks for providing the option!

Toilets open all night very clean.
Here in August, 5 other vans, felt safe, well lit, gravel spaces. Large clean play park and very good free wifi. Washing dishes facilities and quiet.

Very clean toilet with sink open 24/7.
Felt safe, 5 camper vans present. Looking onto lake, this is a grass site.
Follow the road round and it is signposted. Thanks for the facilities!

Perfect location on the edge of town.
Peaceful and felt very safe due to being well lit and several campers. This is a car park looking onto the lake with picnic benches. Super loos nearby unsure if 24/7.
