Stayed at this great DOC campground with great view of the river.
The walks are great. Done a 4 hour hike with our little baby, very steep and lots of rain but VERY good.

I have done the caves a couple of times and keep coming back, but it has become more pricey over the years.
We did the Waitomo Glowworm Cave with our 8 month old baby.

Most of the staff are really friendly, unfortunately, the camper is not in the best shape (water leaking in when raining, middle seat not suitable for infant seat, even though I specifically asked about
that when booking).

Largest spring in the Southern Hemisphere.
Nice, easy walk (45 minutes), suitable for a buggy or wheelchair. Done it in the rain and was worth the detour. More impressive when the weather is good.

Pickup at the campground, very friendly staff, especially our skipper even had a life jacket for baby.
Skipper showed us Split Apple Rock and seals and gave us much information and insight pointers.

I have done the track five years ago as part of a three day track, wanted to show this beautiful area to my husband.
Took a watertaxi to Torrent Bay and walked down to Marahau. Not easy while carrying a 20lb baby but SO worth it. Great beaches and awesome views.
