The driver made a special effort to make it exciting with 360 degree spins and weaving in and out of obstacles on the river. Great fun.

It was cloudy and raining when we went in January.
We were told it is hardly ever clear like the pictures! It is still spectacular though. Worth going after 3pm to avoid the crowds.

Nice, easy walk from the information centre at Mt Cook to Kea Point lookout.
Great views of the Mt Cook on a clear day, although it clouded over quickly.

This is an easy walk along the lakeside - so flat we did it with a pram.
The frisbee golf also looked fun. Must do when in Queenstown.
