This is an exceptional holiday park right in the heart of Queenstown.
It’s expensive but you get what you pay for. Immaculately clean, beautifully manicured hedges and grass plus plenty of bird life. The facilities are top notch. Best park I’ve ever stayed in.

What an amazing little spot.
Room for a few campers. Picnic tables and fresh water supply. Not that cheap but managed real-time by the lovely lodge. You can pay them directly instead of using the box. Advantage of lodge bar, cafe and restaurant. Great walks right here plus cycling.

Third time staying here.
Very friendly. Only minor thing is showers could do with shower mats to stand on and some more hooks to hang clothes.
Thanks Anothony, we have opted not to have shower mats due to hygiene reasons but will definately look into installing more hooks.

An absolutely stunning spot with unspoilt views of Lake Ohau and the mountains beyond.
This is New Zealand at its best. Wild and beautiful. We’re here in winter and no other tourists in sight. Will be back for sure. Best of all it’s free.

NOT CLOSED as of 17th August.
Such a great DOC site with basic facilities. The walks are second to none. Could easily spend 3 days here exploring. Toilets, water and grey dump. What’s not to love?
