What an odd site and yet it had everything we needed along with a Peyton zoo, playground and eel feeding pond.
Unfortunately the sand flies were horrible, so we didn't get a chance to fully explore. The kitchen is workable but small with only one picnic style table. It wasn't crowded when we were there so that was fine. The showers and bathroom were decent.

Really nice kitchen and hang out area, but you need to bring all of your cooking supplies.
Bathrooms were light and clean. Camper van sites were just a parking lot.
Thank you for your comments. We do hire out kitchen cabins for $5 that contain everything that you would need to be able to cook a meal. We do have a variety of sites available, some on grass and some on gravel.

Obviously location makes this park a no-brainer.
The camping spots for camper vans were level, but not more than a parking space for your van. However, the kitchen was great. Lots of work stations and very well stocked. The eating and hang out area was big as well. The bathrooms were decent.

When we needed food and a place to stop this was here for us, which was great.
But the amenities are pretty terrible. The showers were disgusting and the carpet worn and dirty.

Lots of space in the camper van area.
Bathrooms were clean, didn't use the showers or kitchen. Hang out room was fine, but small. Great location for Abel Tasman.

Only stayed here to catch the ferry early the the the next morning.
Owner was not particularly friendly and park seemed a little run down, that said, we didn't really see it during the day.

Loved this park.
It was so much fun with the large pool, pool bar and evening pool movies. You can charge food and drink to your camp site. The camper van spots were level. The kitchen was nice and the bathrooms were bright and clean. You do have to turn on the hot water button but the water heats up fast and lasts plenty long.

nice campground and nice hosts.
The showers and bathrooms were decent and clean. The kitchen was small for how many people there were but clean. We did laundry and the cost was reasonable. You do camp under the car and train bridge, but it didn't bother us too much. One train did go by before we went to bed and it was pretty loud, but we didn't hear another one during our stay.

Nice holiday park just a few minutes outside the city.
The views weren't great because of the tall hedges, but each space was pretty private and nicely kept. We didn't use the kitchen. But the showers and bathroom near the camper van sites were amazing. Lots of stalls, heating, natural light, clean and hairdryers at every sink.

They were very weird about gates and codes, but the location is perfect if you are doing the Tongariro crossing.
The camper van spots are slightly sloped, we got there early and get a good spot. We did laundry there and the cost was reasonable. The kitchen is nice with decent space for cooking and eating. The bathrooms are clean.

Convenient spot for catching the early boat to Doubtful Sound.
The park was fine. The kitchen was useable but small and the bathrooms were just okay. Its location is its selling point.
Thanks Laureen, yes it is a delightful walk through the trees to the Doubtful Sound departure point.

The spot for the camper van was nice but the amenities were definitely a little run down.
The kitchen was small and only had two stools for seating. The hang out area was decent size but felt used. Showers were fine. You can't get wifi at the camper van site even though they say it is available.
