We have booked a Road Abode motorhome for one month in March 2017.
Shane and Hamish were very helpful and answered quickly our questions when we were preparing our trip from France. We had initially booked a 2-berth campervan, and Road Abode kindly upgraded our rental to a 4-berth motorhome, which turned out to be very pleasant !
No problem at all regarding the pick-up and drop-off times, many thanks to Hamish for his availability (even on Sunday) and for his advice on how to use the motorhome.
The vehicle was fully equipped, with two sets of household linens and bath sheets. The interior was clean but not spotless.
The motorhome had more than 150000 km on its kilometer reader, but no issue at all with the driving around South Island.
We would definitively recommend Road Abode for a campervan rental !

We did the 16.500 ft skydive, with Mauro and Nico.
Awrsome views on Mt Cook, the Glaciers, the West Coast and the Southern Alps !
The crew was really nice, very efficient and reassuring, which was a good point for newbies like us.
From what we have seen, Skydive Fox applies the lowest prices in South Island.
The 16.500 ft dive is really worth it, so if you wish to experience an amazing skydive, try it with Skydive Fox !

We did the "Doubtful Day Out" kayak trip in March 2017.
We were a total of 8 people, the trip started from Manapouri at 7 am. Amazing sunrise on Lake Manapouri during the boat transfer !
3h of kayak, with geological and environmental descriptions from our guide.
During the first hour, we were alone in the Sound, which made the place and the silence really awesome !
The return transfer (bus+boat) was made a bit in a rush...
The price is expensive for a "simple" kayaking trip, but it is the price to pay to enjoy the beauty and the silence of Doubtful Sound !
