I will most definitely be coming back to this place. A world away from the stresses of life, yet so close. The hosts are friendly, there when you need them, but also give you the privacy you seek. We came here with friends from Australia. They didn't quite believe me when I told them there were no banking facilities up the river. But after an evening at the Flying Fox, I don't think they wanted to leave. My husband and I will absolutely be coming back to spend a weekend here again.

Despite the rain on the way up, this trip well and truly exceeded my expectations.
Brent was professional and respectful of the river's cultural significance, and Clare's cakes were to die for. I would, without a doubt recommend this trip to anyone looking to take a trip up the majestic Whanganui. Saving up to send the parents!
