Wicked spot nice sea and the dolphins came again and again... but... check the weather, if sensitive to coldness, it can be too cold.

The car is nice, working well and quite organised but...
it is quite expensive. Renting a cheap regular car and sleeping in a backpackers (even double rooms) will be much cheaper.

The view from the top is worth even coming to NZ.
The Heli (optional) was expensive but we were honeymoon lazy. Walk up and save a bit. Premium rooms are good for couples.

Very beautiful.
The Milford highway gives you an idea of the same view and it's free, but you feel it more from within the water.
