The trail was beautiful but challenging in parts.
Even though we crossed at low tide, we had to wade through a foot of water when crossing the inlet - and was not expecting that. The trail from Awaroa Hut to Lodge was poorly marked and frustrating!

Great motorhome and very friendly staff.
They emailed us before arrival and scheduled a taxi to pick me up in the city for a negotiated rate (because I was staying away from the airport - otherwise they would have picked me up for free).
